Training

The Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity has a robust Education & Outreach program. The program includes providing education and outreach throughout the state of Georgia by conducting technical trainings and workshops in the areas of Equal Employment & Fair Housing. The Agency also hosts and participates in conferences, symposiums, panels, and other related events.

The following are GCEO's guidelines related to training requests:

1. A training request form must be completed in its entirety and submitted to the agency in order for the request to be met. Requests received via email or telephone will be directed to complete the online training request form.

2. Training requests forms should only be completed and submitted if you are requesting training services or requesting a staff member to participate in a panel, symposium, conference, or related event as a guest speaker.

3. All training requests must be submitted at least 30 days in advance in order for the request to be met. The agency also reserves the right to specify a specific date and time based on staff availability. In order for this request to be met within that time period, we must have all information provided to us via the training form.

4. Training requests that are not apart of GCEO's statewide initiatives ("Supporting Small Businesses," "Supporting State Agencies/ Colleges and Universities," and "Connecting with Rural Georgia") may be subjected to training fees and/or travel reimbursement.
