GCEO Hosts International Visitors from Hungary

Hungary Visitors

The Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity had the pleasure of hosting International Visitors from Hungary during their visit to Georgia.The delegates included Ms. Henriett Eva Dinok, Executive Director of Romaversitas Foundation, Mr. Andras NUN, Director of Autonomia Foundation, and Ms. Fanni Agnes Tujner, Head of Fundraising and Communication for BAGAZS Public Benefit Association.

The delegates were invited to the United States under the auspices of the Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program with the theme of, “Advancing Minority Rights.”

The professional objectives for the Hungary Project included examination of U.S. laws and institutions that protect against discrimination, introduce U.S. perspectives on cultural diversity and the value it brings to American society, and introduce successful community organizing and advocacy campaigns to empower minority groups to engage in the political process and become effective advocates for their rights, particularly concerning education and housing to name a few.
